Preliminary Assessments

H2O Consulting Group can provide preliminary assessments of ecological constraints during the planning phase of the project.  This allows for the ecological constraints and opportunities for the project to be identified early on in the planning phase. These reports can be later updated to include impact assessment as part of a more detailed Ecological Assessment.

Typically preliminary assessments will include review of available information, review of potential options or methodologies, searches of threatened species, populations and communities and MNES,  review of existing mapping of potential ecological constraints, site assessment and survey based on the data gaps, identification of project opportunities and constraints, and recommendations for reviewed options and methodologies.
